大马棕榈油技术研发（上海）有限公司(PORTSIM)成立于2005年底，旨在开发、拓展和推进马来西亚棕榈油在中国的市场，以及相关企业提供技术支持和咨询服务。PORTSIM是马来西亚总署(MPOB)在华的分支机构。除了行驶MPOB的主要基本职能，比如研发新技术及产品，PORTSIM有责任对中国的棕榈油产业发展提供科学的，可靠的技术支持。
